This kit contains the materials you need to make two reusable hand warmers using beautifully soft 100% cotton flannel from Lewis & Irene, in two complementary designs. Wonderfully soft and comforting, the flannel fabric is just right for keeping hands warm when the temperature drops.

Inside the kit you’ll also find 100% cotton lining fabric to hold the rice or wheat filling securely, plus a reel of coordinating Gutermann thread and full-colour, step-by-step instructions to guide you along the way.

The finished size of the pocket warmers is 4″ × 4″. A lovely weekend make for yourself or a quick handmade gift for a friend!

You will need:

• Rice or wheat to fill the hand warmers
• Sewing machine
• Scissors or rotary cutter and cutting mat
• Iron and ironing board
