This applique pattern was inspired by the birds that visit my garden. Bertie the bluebird is a cute interpretation of the bird in a size that can easily be used in a variety of projects. My design features textured fabrics. However, you can get creative and use patterned prints or plain solids in your preferred colour palette.
It will be a real fun conversation piece when made into homeware, bags, clothing or accessories! You will need 5 different coloured fabrics and a background fabric.
Suitable to be made into a cushion cover, mug rug, wall hanging or used to decorate a tote bag or piece of clothing. You could also incorporate it into a quilting project.
