New Lewis and Irene Fabric – by the metre

While having a bit of a tidy up in the warehouse recently, I came across some beautiful Lewis & Irene fabrics that are now coming towards the end of their production run.

I’ve just made them available for sale by the metre in our latest products section.

As I was sorting through them, I decided to try something a little different.

One of the challenges of supplying fabric online is that photographs don’t always tell the whole story. It’s often easier to appreciate the colours, scale of the prints and quality of the fabric when you can see it being handled.

So, for the first time, I’ve put together a short video showing some of these fabrics in more detail. I don’t usually enjoy being in front of the camera, but I thought I’d give it a go and see what you think!

Our latest Lewis and Irene fabric

Many of these fabrics have featured in our recent collections, including Hannah’s Flowers, Peacock Parade and Green Man. Lewis & Irene are well known for their excellent-quality quilting cotton and beautifully detailed designs, so I thought it would be a shame not to make the remaining stock available.

There are limited stocks available on each of these lines.

Your Thoughts?

I’d love to hear your thoughts on either the fabrics or the video. If you find this type of video helpful, please leave a comment below or get in touch.

Thank you Cindy. I enjoyed your video and found it interesting to see the fabrics in the larger format. I am a novice patchworker and have only made sample quilts, following a beginners course. i really like the way you beautifully co ordinate your fat quarters. I like the Lewis and Irene brand and would love to see their Bumbleberry range included in the fabric you sell by the metre.

Thank you Sue for your lovely comments. I’m so pleased you enjoyed the video and you have reminded me that I have other ‘Bumbleberry’ fabrics that need listing on the website.
      Happy sewing, Cindy.
